On July 6th at 1:45pm it was an extremely exciting time for the Baker Family. We took Tony and Mia to our 20 week check up to see their new baby sister or brother. With anticipation the kids shuffled in their chairs having trouble sitting still while the ultrasound technician completed her initial screening. The Technician smiled looked at my husband and I and said without a doubt.
IT'S A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow a girl with the long standing history of men in both the Chapman family and the Baker family we were blessed with another GIRL.
Although my husbands initial expectation was to have a boy to carry on the name shortly after the news his mind filled with images of what his princess is going to look like. I on the other hand was happy with either boy or girl with more focus being on the fact that she was a healthy, beautiful, growing little one.
My sister Stephanie could not even get the words out of her mouth upon hearing the news that she was going to be graced with another Princhinee!!! She loves the girls she said and was super excited.
Unprepared for the news I honestly did not have a girl name picked out but knew God would present the most amazing name we could ever imagine.
My sister Stephanie shared a story before announcing what would become our new little princess's permanent name. Steph said when she walked around our house she always had the sudden urge to sing the song "Sing sweet night n gail" and would humm the tune all around our house. Well the name she proposed would mean both the VOICE in Persian and PRETTY; DELICATE LIKE A BIRD in LATIN; LIFE in Hebrew and in Old English BREATH OF LIFE.
and we shall call her name AVA....
